Dublin is a compact city, so it’s really easy to get around either on foot or by bike. If you’re flying in, the closest airport is Dublin Airport. You can hire a taxi, coach or minibus to get you into the centre of the city in around half an hour. There’s also some public transport options too such as the express service The Airlink that goes from Dublin Airport to the main bus station and then stops at O’Connell Street in the city centre. The buses are fairly frequent, every 15 to 20 minutes and run from 5am to 11.30pm (11.20pm on Sundays).
